Whether you are opening your first checking account, buying a home, running a business, or planning for retirement, Farmers National Bank has served the financial needs of Central Kentuckians for 138 years. When Farmers National Bank says they want to be “Your Lifetime Bank”, they have the track record to prove it.

With their long tradition of quality service and personal relationships, Farmers National Bank has been a leader in the central Kentucky banking community for generations. “Farmers National Bank opened for business in 1879, and we have been ambitiously building on our solid foundation. We will remain a strong corporate citizen well into the future,” says Greg Caudill, CEO, Farmers National Bank. “If we do the right things and provide superior value to our customers, shareholders and community, we will continue to be a top performing Kentucky-based bank.”

While Farmers National built its reputation on traditional banking services, they have always kept an eye on the future. Farmers National Bank opened Danville’s first drive through facility in 1959, offered Danville’s first ATM in 1978, and will soon introduce this area’s first Interactive Teller Machine. This new Teller on Demand platform is the perfect blend of technology and personal service. With Teller on Demand, Farmers National Bank’s customers can conduct machine-based transactions with the assistance of a live customer service representative. Teller on Demand will also allow extended hours for additional convenience. This innovative service will be available later this year at the bank’s new Garland Drive Branch and Greenleaf Shopping Center locations.

The bank’s new Garland Drive Branch, located at the South Danville Bypass, will be a full-service, state-of-the-art facility offering personal, one-on-one customer areas, Teller on Demand services, and more. According to CEO Greg Caudill, “We have put a lot of thought and planning into every detail of the new Garland Drive location, and we can’t wait for our customers to experience it.”

Farmers National Bank is rolling out other innovative products and services to meet the demands of the digital age. These include the MobiMoney debit card app, temporary replacement debit cards, remote deposit capture, and mobile wallet services through Apple, Android and Samsung.  These products and services offer added security and convenience through the use of the latest technology. In addition, Farmers National Bank is planning several major upgrades to the bank’s Internet Banking platform to better serve consumers and businesses alike.

“We are excited about the new technologies and services we have introduced this year and those we have planned for the future,” says Marty Gibson, President of Farmers National Bank. “Each of these investments were based on customer and community needs and feedback. This will allow us to offer innovative, in-demand products and services, to supplement our service from smiling, caring people.” While the bank’s investments in technology are critical, President Gibson believes that people make the biggest difference. “With so many options available, it can be difficult choosing a bank. Although other banks may have similar products, we stand out because of the experience you have with our team. Because of our emphasis on relationships, our customers know we care about serving them and our community.”

In addition to loan and deposit products, Farmers National Bank offers a full suite of financial products and services tailored to the needs of every client. These services include wealth management, estate planning, brokerage and insurance services, as well as institutional services like 401(K) management and ESOPs. WealthSouth, the bank’s wealth management division, has grown significantly over the last few years, with over $1.6 billion in assets under management, and offices in Danville, Lexington and Bowling Green.

The people of Farmers National Bank are proud to serve their customers and communities in many different ways. “Everything we do is built around service and people,” adds CEO Caudill. “That’s why we come to work every morning, to serve our shareholders, our customers, and our community. We believe it’s how we are making a difference.”
