In this hit revue from the creators of PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, four graduates of Oil City High return to their alma mater for a recital in honor of their beloved music teacher, Miss Reeves. Proud, eager – not necessarily gifted – and slightly competitive, the four perform a bizarre program that ranges from the “1812 Overture” to “The Stars And Stripes Forever” to rock standards, sentimental favorites and off beat original songs. It’s a knee-slapping, sweetly nutty tribute.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration remains, in many ways, their most innovative, having set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love’s journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road. That they will succeed in making a new life together we have no doubt, and that this new life will begin in a brand-new state provides the ultimate climax to the triumphant OKLAHOMA!

Last season Charles Ross brought his One Man Star Wars show to Club Weisiger. The sold-out audience demanded his return with a performance based on his other favorite fantasy series: One Man Lord of the Rings™. Ross hurtles his way through the entire Tolkien trilogy recreating the magical world of Middle-earth and all its enchanting characters. In this inspired performance, he manages to complete Frodo’s epic journey from the Shire to the fire-armed with nothing more than a pair of elbow pads and his outrageous imagination. With riveting stage fights, harrowing rescues, and brilliant vocal sound effects, he captures every character-Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Legolas, the majestic Gandalf and even the malicious Gollum-in a show that will leave Weisiger audiences transfixed once again.

What do you get when you take the world’s most popular movie trilogy and condense it to just one 75- minute high-energy, kinetic monologue performed by a slightly schizophrenic stage actor? One Man Star Wars. Charles Ross, the “force” behind One Man Star Wars, plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings the music, flies the ships and fights both sides of the battle from the original George Lucas trilogy in this hilarious and spellbinding one man show. One Man Star Wars has performed over 1,200 times in more than 180 cities across four continents; from Off-Broadway in New York to London’s West End, from Dubai’s resorts to the Glastonbury Music Festival- in small towns, big cities, and even at Lucasfilm’s own Star Wars conventions – this show has been places!
