Biographical Info

Considered a bluegrass virtuoso, Alison Krauss bridges the gap between roots music and country, rock, and pop. She has sold in excess of 12 million albums and earned 26 Grammy® Awards, the most for any female, and the third most of any recording artist in Grammy® history. The players of Union Station, including 12 time Grammy® winner Jerry Douglas (Dobro, lap steel, vocals), Dan Tyminski (guitar, mandolin, lead vocal), Ron Block (banjo, guitar) and Barry Bales (bass, vocals) combined with Krauss on lead vocals and fiddle, represent five distinct personalities coming together to form a musical ensemble that is truly unique.
