Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts is thrilled to present an all-new 26/27 season, brimming with world-class entertainers, award-winning emerging artists and collaborations that inspire as much as they delight. Tickets are on sale now for Grammy-winning country queens Alison Krauss and Pam Tillis, #1 New York Times bestselling author John Green, Meredith Willson’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Music Man and so much more!

14-time Grammy winners Alison Krauss & Union Station kick off the season with special guest Jerry Douglas on September 16, bringing their signature blend of bluegrass, country and Americana to Newlin Hall. Pam Tillis (April 24) closes out the year with Grand Ole Opry vibes and chart-topping hits like “Shake the Sugar Tree,” “Maybe It Was Memphis” and more.

Broadway arrives in Danville with Meredith Willson’s The Music Man (October 1), the beloved Tony Award-winning tale of a fast-talking con man who falls in love with a town librarian. Musical comedy fun doesn’t stop there – The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical brings all your favorite holiday tropes and original songs to the Newlin stage on December 4.

Sing along to your favorite 70s pop-rock anthems with Atlanta Rhythm Section, Orleans and Firefall (October 22) and groove to the “most authentic tribute to Neil Diamond,” So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience starring Robert Neary (November 6). Skerryvore (February 11) brings an all-new sound to the Norton Center all the way from Scotland, blending Celtic, folk and rock for an unforgettable high-energy performance.

Hear from voices that inspire and entertain! The Centre College Press Distinguished Lecture Series presents A Conversation With John Green on November 9. Known for his bestselling books and movie adaptations like The Fault in Our Stars and Everything is Tuberculosis, Green will explore his life, career and the experiences that shape his creative processes. Then get ready to laugh with Saturday Night Live legend Tim Meadows (March 19), best known for his iconic role as Principal Duvall in Mean Girls and his portrayal of Leon Phelps in The Ladies Man, as he takes the mic for an evening of hilarity. 

Discoveries are happening all season long, from gravity-defying acrobats to boundary-pushing musicians. Brazilian singer-songwriter Bia Ferreira (November 18) blends Afro-pop, soul, reggae and funk with one of the most powerful voices in the Latin America music scene. Award-winning pianist Michael Davidman (January 9) presents an emotional and moving program featuring Bach, Chopin and more, and Cheng² Duo’s (February 16) dynamic cello and piano pairing brings audiences across the world with their stunning program “Night at the Museum.” House of Waters (February 26) delivers a genre-blending mix of jazz, world and progressive influences for a fresh cinematic sound, and The Peking Acrobats (February 28) soar onto the stage ready to stun audiences of all ages with their breathtaking stunts and gravity-defying moves.
