BRANDEE YOUNGER

Brandee Younger is a visionary harpist redefining the boundaries of her instrument for the digital age. With over a decade of relentless dedication to her instrument, Younger made history in 2022 as the first black woman nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition, and she continues to captivate audiences with her groundbreaking work.

From collaborating with cultural icons like Common, Lauryn Hill and John Legend, to her latest album, 2024 NAACP Image Award-winning “Brand New Life,” Younger’s artistry knows no bounds. Accompanied by bass and drums, she infuses classical, jazz, soul and funk influences into her performance, and with each note, she cements the harp’s place in pop culture and proves that innovation and tradition can harmonize beautifully.
