ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Brazilian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and unstoppable artivist Bia Ferreira brings a fierce blend of soul, reggae, funk and Afro-Brazilian rhythm to the stage. Known for her breakout anthem “Cota Não É Esmola,” Bia distinguished herself as one of the most powerful voices in the contemporary Latin American music scene. She is motivated by a desire to spread love through her music, creating performances that are electric, emotional and deeply human.

Bia’s latest album, Améfrica, debuted in May of this year, featuring her signature sound of powerful melodies and sharp, striking intensity.

Kentucky K-12 public schools are eligible to receive FREE student tickets thanks to the Norton Center’s Arts for the Classroom Ticket Subsidy (ACTS) program. ACTS funding is only available to subsidize the cost of student tickets and is available on an first come, first serve basis.
